Dr. Alex’s Jittu current R&D portfolio includes the future FireTruck with four mitigation media and an integrated window/structure breacher; flying robots for cutting trees and creating firebreaks in Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, etc.; special firefighting drones designed for the difficult terrains of California, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Albania, Croatia, and Bulgaria; heavy machines for cutting trees in virgin forests such as Canada and Oregon; high-rise firefighting drones, autonomous drone stations, and AIJ AQUA GUARD Chemical for wild, domestic, and Li-ion battery / EV fire mitigation. Dr. Jittu brings a rare combination of large-scale industrial leadership and entrepreneurial execution. Early in his career, he served as Director of Operations for Machine Tools Manufacturing and as General Director of a very large industrial complex of 17,000 employees producing both defense and domestic products, where he was responsible for full operational leadership, production planning, engineering, quality, and delivery across highly regulated defense and civilian manufacturing lines.

Leveraging this large-scale, complex leadership experience, he founded Start Impex Limited in 1994 in Cugir, Romania, an engineering firm; Caroma Impex Limited in 1994 in Canada after his emigration to Canada; AIJ R&D Engineering & Consulting LLC in 2019; and AIJ R&D Fires Defense LLC in 226 in Michigan, USA. He brings the deep engineering and manufacturing expertise required to guide advanced technologies from concept and validation toward practical commercialization, especially in the current environment when productivity and the introduction of new Products/Technologies MUST be done extremely fast without “woopsies” and “water under the bridge,” taking full advantage of AI tools. He is a well-known inventor and advocate for increasing productivity by fully leveraging AI to eliminate debt and build the next generation of manufacturing and emergency response technologies.
